I absolutely don’t mean this negatively. I’m in the same boat :) there are all the boring things that I need to do to make it a real business and treat it like one; that I was largely insulated from while working at a “job”. There’s also the constant pressure of being always on, at least in the initial stages until you grow and take on employees; and then that’s a different kind of responsibility. But at the end of the day, for me, I got weary of playing the drums to someone else’s’ tune; so that helps put things in perspective for me - all the boring crap, the necessary crap - it’s at least because I chose it; not because some corporate strategy dictated it. Freedom often comes with a lot of strings; they can either pull you up or weigh you down; and many times they do both at the same time. Isn’t that the best part though :) ? All the best to you!
