I disagree with your guidance here but for a certain kind of personality, this makes a lot of sense. Generally speaking it’s risky to put all your eggs in one basket if you don’t have a 2 year runway to pay the rent. After you have that, if you can commit to something and be willing to learn and outwork everyone else, it’s makes a lot more sense to work on your business full time. The key thing though is it’s not for everyone, just like every profession isn’t for everyone. Elon Musk said in an interview, the most important parts of growing a business are rarely the pieces that you actually want to work on when you decided to go all in, because it’s tedious as shit. But you gotta do it. It definitely doesn’t make sense to blindly get sucked into anything; and if that is the essence of your message, then I agree.
